Pastor Toyin Kehinde came to a saving
knowledge of Christ as a child growing up in a Christian
home. He made a personal commitment to Christ in
1980 and has consistently followed the Lord since
then.
Pastor Kehinde Christian leadership grace became
obvious from High School where he led the student
fellowship. This also continued through college days.
He was also a Christian leader during his National
Youth Service Programme pioneering ministry work
in the then newly created state of Akwa-Ibom in South-South,
geo-political region of Nigeria in 1988.
He was called into the ministry in 1983 and began
with the Redemption Gospel Church, Lagos combining
it with his undergraduate studies. In 1986, he became
an Associate Pastor with Christ Life Bible Church,
Lagos. During his service here, he pioneered branches
and mission fields for the ministry. He was there
until 1993, when the Lord moved him forward in ministry.
From 1993, he served under the ministry of Bishop
Emmanuel N. Osakwe at the International Christian
Mission, Maryland Lagos. He was at various times
National Youth Pastor, Zonal Pastors’ Co-ordinator,
World Missions Director, Chairman World Missions
Board, Vice Chairman Governing Council of International
Christian Bible Seminary.
He rose to become the Deputy General Overseer of
the same Ministry until he received a commission
to start a fresh work for the Lord. He served between
May 1993 and December 2000 with the International
Christian Mission.
The fresh work is what is now known as Agape Generation
International Church. Pastor Kehinde is also a Board
Member of the National Prayer Movement, Nigeria.
He is a rare combination of academic excellence and
spiritual gifts. A Pastoral role model, a teacher
of the word of God bringing forth truths that God
is using to prepare His people for Christ's coming.
Pastor Toyin Kehinde has been married to Shade since
February 1993 and the union is blessed with three
children (1) Toluwani (2) Toluwalade and (3) Toluwabori,
a boy and 2 girls respectively.
